Shot blasting and metal spraying specialists

Our blasting room is 6m long x 3m wide x 2.5m high with abrasive recovery system and dust extraction unit.

The standard abrasive material being used is chilled iron grit.

The spraying booth is 6m long x 3m wide x 2.5m high with a water wash system and can be adapted to accept long lengths of steel extrusion. The standard material being applied is zinc and aluminium to BS2569 Pt 1.

The paint spraying booth is 3m wide x 2m deep x 2.5m high, with a water wash system. Paint is applied wet with airless and conventional spray equipment.

Our services include

Electrostatic Powder Coating
The spray booth is 3m wide x 2m deep x 2.5m high with an extraction system. The curing oven is 4m long 2.5m wide x 2.5 high. The Maywick Auto / Line System is designed for high volume batch work, and can coat items up to 6m maximum length.

Vixen Phoswash Degreasing Plant
The machine is 3m long x 1.5m wide x 1.5m deep. This machine gives a phosphate coating to mild steel and etch pre-treatment on stainless steel and aluminium, with an extraction system. Flame spraying - BS2569 Pt 1 - zinc and aluminium.

Vaqua Wet Blast Machine
The blast cabinet is 1m cubed with a rotary table. The standard abrasive material being used is glass bead for stainless steel and non-ferrous metals.

Glass Bead Room
We have a 3m long x 2m wide x 2m high glass room. We use fine glass bead and non-ferrous material only.

Calmac Metal Finishers Ltd uses the latest technology

We use glass bead and fine aluminium oxide for restoration, blasting and priming.

For electroplating, we use clear passivate RoHS compliant bright zinc and passivate RoHS compliant materials.

We use zinc plating and chrome plating for motorbike nuts and bolts.
